Century’s ‘AA’ Credit Ratings Reaffirmed by Fitch and S&P Global
For another year, Century Housing Corporation has received ‘AA’ issuer and long-term credit ratings with stable outlooks from both Fitch Ratings and S&P Global Ratings. Fitch also reaffirmed Century’s ‘F1+’ short-term rating, while S&P reaffirmed its ‘A-1+’ short-term rating for Century’s commercial paper program.
The reports recognize Century’s continued financial strength and disciplined approach to managing risk. Fitch cited Century’s “strong asset quality,” “solid earnings generation,” and “sound leverage and capitalization metrics.” S&P highlighted Century’s “continued very strong operating performance, equity base, and overall management.”
These ratings help Century raise capital efficiently to finance affordable and workforce housing throughout California. Century remains among the few CDFIs in the nation rated by both Fitch and S&P.
Since 1995, Century has invested $3.8 billion in affordable and workforce housing, helping finance more than 68,000 homes across California.
