Jim Mather Named Acting President & CEO of Century Housing

Century Housing is pleased to announce that Jim Mather has been appointed Acting President & CEO, effective Tuesday, June 10. A longtime leader in affordable housing and community development, Jim brings more than four decades of experience to the role and a deep understanding of Century’s mission and work.

Jim joined the Century Housing Board of Directors earlier this year and has already contributed valuable insight and perspective. His career spans local government, community development banking, CDFIs, and nonprofit development. Most recently, he served as Chief Investment Officer at BRIDGE Housing, where he led innovative capital strategies to expand affordable housing throughout the West Coast.

“I’m honored to step into this role during a time of transition,” Jim shared. “Century has a strong team and a clear mission. My focus will be on providing steady leadership and supporting the critical work already underway while the board continues its search for a permanent CEO.”
