Inglewood Home Assist Fund

Join the City of Inglewood and Century to score big for affordable housing

Exciting developments have brought the world to the City of Inglewood for sports, entertainment, and business opportunities. But for Inglewood residents, these changes have come at a cost with rising rents leading to tough choices.

The Inglewood Home Assist Fund (Inglewood Fund) takes center court as a $75 million initiative to meet the growing demand for housing in the City of Inglewood. The fund is made possible by the City of Inglewood in connection with the construction of the Intuit Dome. Century Housing, along with our partners, will administer the fund by lending to qualified developers for the acquisition, development, and preservation of affordable and mixed-income housing. Developers based in Inglewood will receive priority.

Capacity Building Fund

As part of the broader Inglewood Home Assist Fund program, Genesis LA is administering the Capacity Building Fund. The Capacity Building Fund seeks to support small and emerging developers to develop and operate affordable housing in the City of Inglewood. The fund is particularly focused on supporting developers who are Inglewood-based and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color)-led.

The Capacity Building Fund will strengthen the capabilities of small and emerging developers, with the goal of increasing their access to financing from the Inglewood Fund and other competitive financial resources. The Capacity Building Fund will select five grantees and provide three interconnected supports over a 24-month period: (1) Technical assistance from Genesis LA and partners; (2) Staffing capacity grants; and (3) Due diligence / feasibility assessment grants.

For additional information and to apply to the program, please see the application here. The application is open through November 15, 2024.
