Century Housing Corporation Receives CDFI Fund Award

Century Housing Corporation has received a $725,000 Financial Assistance (FA) Award from the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund. We learned of the award last fall as part of the FY 2024 CDFI Program funding round announcement—and the funds arrived this week.

This award is part of the CDFI Fund’s $408.2 million in Financial Assistance awards distributed to 357 CDFIs nationwide. FA Awards help CDFIs expand lending capacity, enhance financial services, and strengthen economic opportunities in historically underserved communities. This funding bolsters Century’s ability to finance affordable housing across California, ensuring that capital reaches the communities that need it most.
