Investing in Opportunity: Century Releases 2025 Investment Impact Report
Affordable housing requires more than capital. It takes creative financing, committed partners, and the ability to recognize opportunities where others see obstacles. Century Housing’s newly released 2025 Investment Impact Report demonstrates how these elements come together to create and preserve affordable homes across California.
During its 30th anniversary year, Century invested nearly $306 million through 43 loans, helping finance 4,651 affordable homes and support 5,421 construction jobs. The report connects these results to developments throughout the state, illustrating how mission-driven investments can deliver measurable social, environmental, and economic benefits.
Inside the report:
- New approaches to housing production. Discover how Century financing supports innovative ED 1 developments like Ingraham Apartments in Los Angeles and helped advance Red Tail Crossing, Westchester’s first 100% affordable housing community.
- Preservation and resilience in action. Learn how strategic financing is extending affordability at Villa Esperanza in Gilroy and supporting 136 new homes for seniors and families in wildfire-impacted Chico.
- Measuring the impact of every investment. Explore Century’s Sustainability Framework and 2025 lending outcomes, including 97% of homes financed affordable to households earning 80% of area median income or below and 65% of loans supporting transit-oriented developments.
With more than $3.8 billion invested and 68,000 affordable homes created or preserved since 1995, Century continues to demonstrate the value of aligning financial strength with social purpose.
